How to change your browser's home page?

Below are instructions for finding the home page setting in popular web browsers. Please let us know if any of these descriptions are incorrect.

 

Google Chrome

Click on the spanner icon in the top right of the screen
Click Options
Click on the Basics tab near the top of the window
Select 'Open this page' and enter your desired home page
Tick 'Show Home button on the toolbar'
Click the Manage button, select blackle.com and click Make Default (Optional)

Internet Explorer

Click on the Tools popup-menu
Click on the Internet Options item in the menu
Click on the General tab near the top of the window
Enter your desired home page

Firefox (Windows)

Select the Tools menu, and select Options
Then select the Main tab
Enter your desired home page

Firefox (Mac)

Select the Firefox menu, and select Preferences
Then select the Main tab
Enter your desired home page

Safari

Click on the Safari menu
Click on the Preferences... item in the menu
Click on the General icon near the top of the window
Enter your desired home page

Opera

Click on the Tools menu
Click on the Preferences... item in the menu
Select the General tab
Enter your desired home page
